Hello Engineers,
***** We are Hiring
*******
Once after seeing this message in your social network or job portal you will make ourselves
ready to be the first applicant to race the recruitment battle.
If you want your profile
to be highlighted in the job portal or professional network here are my tips to
make yourself confident 👇
Then what's next!!!!!
In this blog I will let
you know how to prepare yourself for a technical interview.
Interview begins with
#Tell about yourself#
A lot of answers
available in web for the above tag.
Make yourself ready to
answer such question with other resources.
Let us dive into the
technical perspective.
Don't get stressed by
their question:
"What is stress???
"
Read the question
again!!!
Is it sigma = Force
/ Area ???
No it's not the thing.
It is just the formula
for stress.
Not an answer to their question.
It's the internal resistance offered by the material against deformation.
Does it makes sense???
It's the way you can
answer!!!
Formulas cannot be an
answer for the definition. Because they want to assess your knowledge with such
simple questions.
Prepare yourself to
answer such type of question with words unless they require formula from you.
Definition are
not the only things which decides you
Next type of
question would be of " What if ? " type
Here is an
example:
" What is
the impact on strain if Elastic modulus is increased ?"
Obviously the
answer would be
"Decrease
in strain due to increased stiffness"
Such type of
questions need mutual understanding of strain and elastic modulus and the
hidden term stress along with the relationship between them.
What I suggest
you is
"Once you come across a new term, try to correlate it's relationship with
other related terms"
Because the
questioning pattern is getting changed from "what" to "what
if".
Other type of
question is based on application "Where it was applicable?"
To explore
further let us take this critical question
" What is the application of shape function in finite element
analysis?"
A simple and
crisp answer to this question would be as follows
" They are interpolation functions which help us in knowing the
deformation value within an element by interpolating the deformation at the
nodes "
Whenever you face
an interview or when you learn new things just be more practical to make
yourself a mechanical genius ☺
I will be
writing a lot like this to share my experience and knowledge.
See you in my
next post!!!!!
